Thomas A. Kershaw has been the owner of the Hampshire House Corporation since its inception in 1969. Kershaw's vision and energy have enabled the Hampshire House to retain its original grandeur while accommodating Bostonians and tourists for special events, private parties, weddings, and corporate functions. The Bull & Finch pub, now known as Cheers, is the inspiration for the setting of the TV series Cheers, featuring comfort food and a gift shop. The Hampshire House Corporation grew to include the 75’s, upper-scale restaurants focusing on locally sourced ingredients and recipes. 75 on Chestnut, a cozy hideaway featuring regional American comfort food located in historic Beacon Hill and 75 On Liberty Wharf, a modern restaurant serving upscale local New England fare with spectacular harbor views in the Seaport district.
